I am Dr Zahid Khan, a Consultant Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon in Abu Dhabi, and my consultant practice is dedicated to complex endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, fertility-preserving treatment, and advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
My journey has been shaped by caring for women whose symptoms have too often been dismissed, delayed, or misunderstood. Many of the women I see have spent years searching for answers - living with pain, heavy bleeding, fatigue, uncertainty, or the feeling that something is deeply wrong, even when they have been told otherwise. I understand how exhausting that experience can be. I also believe, very strongly, that women deserve better.
I have built my practice around one simple principle: to take women seriously. That means listening carefully, investigating thoroughly, thinking deeply, and never reducing complex symptoms to something trivial. In conditions such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, detail matters. Judgment matters. Experience matters. When disease is advanced, anatomy is distorted, and quality of life is being affected, women need more than reassurance alone - they need genuine expertise.
My work is centred on delivering highly individualized care with precision, honesty, and compassion.
